Overview
A modern science Ph.D. student, Tang Shen, accidentally travels back to ancient times, where his intellect helps him rise through the imperial exams into politics. With his shrewd mentor Wang Qin, he uncovers a buried injustice while clashing with his brilliant rival, Mr. Liang, in a battle of wits at court.
