1. Account Information

Creating an account is optional. If you choose to create one (by email or through a third-party sign-in option), we store the minimum information needed to identify your account and sync your watchlists, ratings, and collections across your devices. You can use most of the app's features without an account.

2. Content You Provide

You may optionally add a profile photo and create lists, comments, or reviews. This content is stored securely and, for features designed to be shared (such as public collections and community comments), may be visible to other users.

3. Movie & TV Data

Information about movies and TV shows (titles, posters, cast, ratings) is sourced from a third-party entertainment database. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in this third-party data.

4. AI-Generated Recommendations

Cine AI uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized recommendations based on your activity within the app. Recommendations may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected.

5. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We collect aggregated, non-identifying usage analytics and crash diagnostics to understand how the app is used and to fix bugs. This data helps us improve stability and features; it is not used to identify you personally.

6. Advertising

Free-tier users may see ads served through third-party advertising partners. These partners may use device identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Premium subscribers do not see ads. You can manage ad personalization through your device's privacy settings.

7. Push Notifications

With your permission, we may send push notifications about new recommendations, features, or reminders. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.

8. Subscriptions & Purchases

Premium subscriptions are purchased and billed through the App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details — purchases are processed entirely by the platform you purchased through, and we only receive confirmation that a purchase was made in order to unlock premium features on your account.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with service providers that help us operate the app (such as hosting, analytics, advertising, and notification delivery), each bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us.

10. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app. Once deleted, your account data is permanently removed from our systems.

11. Children's Privacy

Cine AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

12. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us using the details below, or by using the account deletion option in the app.

13. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Cine AI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
