Sriram Panda, born around 1954 in the Nabarangpur district of Odisha, is a highly regarded former actor, director, and screenwriter in the Odia film industry. Widely celebrated for his natural acting, gentle dialogue delivery, and disciplined work ethic, he became a defining figure in Ollywood. His dashing on-screen presence earned him comparisons to the legendary Hindi film superstar Rajesh Khanna, cementing his status as one of Odisha's biggest superstars during the 1980s and 1990s. Panda made his acting debut in the successful 1972 film Dharitri.
