Biography

Max DeFalco is an independent writer/director from Long Island, NY, now based in LA. Drawing inspiration from the chaos, colorful characters, and unpredictability he stumbles upon in everyday life, Max creates stories about severely flawed but deeply human individuals. Max’s debut narrative feature film, TEN WILL, will have its World Premiere at Slamdance 2026. He was selected for the 2025 CAA Moebius Film Festival and UTA’s New Wave Showcase for his short film, “Follow Me Wherever I Go.” His films have screened at the Academy Award-qualifying Palm Springs ShortFest, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, Beyond Fest, among others, and have been featured online via NoBudge and Short of the Week.
