Biography
John Herbert Buckup (São Paulo, May 17, 1929 – São Paulo, January 26, 2011) was a Brazilian actor, director and producer. In some works, he was credited as Johnny Herbert. He was married to the actress Eva Wilma, from 1955 to 1976, and both are parents to the actress, Vivian Buckup, born in 1956 and John Herbert Junior (Johnnie) born in 1958. With Eva Wilma, he had great success on Brazilian television in the 1950s and 60s, with the series Alô Doçura.
