Lada Boyadjieva

Biography

Lada Boyadjieva was the first female documentary director in Bulgarian cinema. She directed over 54 documentary, educational, and advertising films. From 1965 she began working at Boyana Film Studio, where she directed fiction films on her own and with her husband Yanush Vazov.
