Biography
Anthony Schatteman is a Belgian filmmaker. He is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) in Ghent, later earning a master’s degree in Film Studies and Visual Culture from the University of Antwerp. His work consistently explores the lives of young people and the dynamics of their relationships, often highlighting themes of emerging sexuality and homoerotic tension. Through a stylized approach, minimal dialogue, and a focus on subtle, hard-to-articulate emotions, he creates universal characters that resonate with the audience.
