Biography

Chuck Harriton built a career primarily in the animation department, with significant credits including animation work on the classic Hanna-Barbera series "Jonny Quest" (1964–1965) and writing contributions to "The Marvel Super Heroes" (1966). He also directed several theatrical shorts featuring the Loopy de Loop character in 1967, such as "Clean Sweep", "A Bridge Grows in Brooklyn", and "The Stuck-Up Wolf", showcasing his skills in both creative direction and storytelling within the animation medium. Over the decades, Harriton lent his talents to various other animated productions, including Loopy de Loop episodes through the 1970s, TV movies like 'Gnomes' (1980) and 'The Berenstain Bears Play Ball' (1983), and later projects such as "Casper and Friends" (1990), often under the alternate name Chuck Harrington.
