Biography
Wash has spent most of his life in the Chicagoland area. In 2005, during his last semester at Tom Savini's FX school in Pittsburgh, PA Tony Wash began production on his choose your own adventure horror feature, It's My Party and I'll Die If I Want To. Receiving numerous festival awards upon its release followed by rave reviews from critics and fans alike, It's My Party solidified Wash and his company, Scotchworthy Productions as a reliable source for quality independent horror. Focusing on high end production value and award-winning practical special FX, Scotchworthy Productions has been doling out frame after frame of gory delight for over 20 years now. Wash has worked with such notable actors as Sid Haig, Shenae Grimes-Beech, Izabella Miko, Rachel Melvin, Tom Savini, and Joe Nunez and his work has been distributed across the world by companies including Sony Home Entertainment. Most recently, Tony helped produce 2020's, The Stylist, and in 2022 the features Black Mold and Sin Eater.
